Pre-School Starts

On Monday Trey started pre-school. He was not really sure he wanted to go. He had a tough time saying goodbye to Nikki at school, but after that we heard that he had a really good day. It has been a big adjustment for him, but each day when we pick him up, he tells us about all the fun he has had. Trey schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 am to 1 pm.

Roughing It

On Sunday night Tayler, Trey, and I decided to rough it. We setup the tent and slept outside. The kids were pretty excited about it. Since it was their first time "camping" we decided to set it up in the backyard just in case things didn't work out. We had a great time. We made smores over the grill, and when we woke up on Monday morning we went fishing. Tayler and Trey both caught their first fish. We went to a little pond by our church because we heard that fish bite pretty quickly. I think the final tally was Trey caught seven fish and Tayler caught five. The last fish that Tayler caught she snagged in the gill, and she was pretty sad to see it bleeding. When we put it back in the water it wasn't moving a whole lot. Her words were, "I think my fish passed away." She was done fishing at that point. She has such a tender heart.
