Christmas in Greenville

We headed down to Greenville, SC to celebrate Christmas with the Anderson side of the family. The kids were able to spend time with their cousins(Caden, Brylan, and London), Uncle Tate, Aunt Karyn, Uncle Buddy, Grandma, and Grandpa. The downside of the trip was that Nikki and the kids all had the flu on Christmas Eve. All did recover by Christmas, and we were able to celebrate with the entire family.

A Visit with Santa...

We stopped and got the kid's picture with Santa after church yesterday. I was surprised my kids would get that close to him. They usually hate anyone dressed up in any type of costume.

Christmas at Nanna's and Pa's!

Today we celebrated Christmas with Nikki's family. The day started with a great breakfast which was followed by a scavenger hunt for the stocking presents. I don't know who enjoys searching for the presents more, Nikki or the kids? After the stocking fun we took a short break(watched a little football), and then it was time for lunch. When lunch was over, we started into the presents. When we were done opening presents, it was time for dinner. Could you tell it was an exhausting day? We burned so much energy opening gifts we had to keep eating. We got spoiled today with too many presents and too much food. I know the kid's made a lot of memories today that will stay with them for a long time.

December Action

It's been a few weeks since I have updated the blog. December is flying by quickly. We have had a lot of activities so far: Nikki's Christmas concerts, the kid's Christmas program, and a lot of shopping. Everything is going well here. Above are some pictures from the kid's program at church. I also took the kids sledding this past Sunday. We all had a lot of fun. Tayler and Trey have asked me every day this week if we could go sledding again. Hopefully we will still have snow this weekend so we can get out on the hills again.
