A Busy Weekend

It was another busy weekend in the Anderson household. On Friday night we took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. They had a lot of fun. It was Ty's first time to do some of the rides. After church today we took the kids to the Indy Air Show. As soon as we parked it started to rain. Actually it poured. We had to park in a grass field. By the time it finished raining the field was a big mud pit. The air show finally did get going, but we decided to watch from the van instead of tracking through the mud. Above you can see how the van looked after we got out of the parking lot. Needless to say, we made a stop at Mike's Car Wash on the way home.

The BIG First Grader

Today is Tayler's first day of First Grade. She was so excited this morning. She was up before we were and was ready to get going. She could not wait to go outside and wait for the bus to come.

The State Fair

On Friday we made our annual trek to the Indiana State Fair. It is always one of the highlights of the summer for the kids. The weather was great, and the kids were able to do a lot of differents things. There was a circus, a sea lion show, a lot of animals, and a lot of food. We were all pretty worn out at the end of the day.

Birthday Parties

The last two weekends we have had birthday parties. 2 weekends ago we had a family party for Trey(who turned 5) and Ty(who turned 1). Last weekend we had a party for Trey with his neighborhood friends at the Sprinkler Park.

Ty Turns One...August 6, 2006

Tomorrow is Ty's first birthday. We cannot believe how fast this first year has gone. The above clip is a look back at Ty's first year of life.

Trey turns 5

Today Trey turned 5. We put a candle in a donut for him this morning and let him open some of his presents. He and Ty are having a combined birthday party this weekend. Trey is all boy. He does some things that make you just scratch your head and other things that make you laugh pretty hard. He is a good brother and has a very giving heart.
